The river has the following characteristics: average width = 20 m, mean depth = 1 m, discharge = 10 m³/s, slope = 0.0002, and it is gently meandering in the study reach. (a) Estimate the longitudinal dispersion coefficient, (b) Estimate and plot the atrazine concentration as a function of time 18 km downstream of the injection, and (c) Estimate the peak concentration 25 km downstream of the injection. Assume that atrazine does not undergo any degradation or removal during the first 16 hours in the river.
