Dantrium 1 mg/kg over 1 hour for malignant
hyperthermia crisis for a female patient weighing 65 kg.
Dantrium is available in 20 mg powder vials and is
reconstituted with 60 ml of SWFI. There is no displacement
volume with this medication. After reconstitution, it is
transferred into an empty sterile IV bag. What rate in ml/hr
