Question 1 An experimenter is positively charged with static electricity. He intends to measure the static charge of his body by conducting a Faraday's pail experiment as illustrated in Fig. 1. Assume that the charge stays on the surface of his body and no charge leaks to ground. Fig. 1
a) Draw an experimental setup to measure the charge distribution on the surface of the metal container. Label and name all the equipment and devices. b) Draw the distribution of charge on the finger skin and the induced charges inside and outside the surface of the container.
