plz give steps for doing also.
SCALES 1. Construct a plain scale to show centimetres and millimetres when one centimetre is represented by 2 cm and long enough to measure up to 8 cm. Mark a distance of 5.7 cm on this scale. 2. A room of 1000 m² volume is represented by 125 cmin a model. Draw a plain scale representing this model, capable of reading up to 30 m. Show a distance of 19.5 m on it. 3. On a map, 5 km is represented by 2.5 cm. Construct a suitable scale to read up to 25 km with an accuracy of 2 hm. Mark a distance of 13.4 km on it. 4. Draw a diagonal scale with RF = 1/18 to represent yards, feet and inches. Represent a distance of 2 yards, 1 foot and 7 inches on it. 5. The distance between Palakkad and Chennai is 560 km. They are shown 392 mm apart on a road map. Find the R.F and construct a diagonal scale to measure up to 200 km and show the distance of 126 km on the scale. 6. On a building plan, a 20 cm long line represents a distance of 10 m. Construct a vernier scale to read up to 8 m, showing metres, decimetres and centimetres. Show the length 6.53 m on the scale. 7. Construct a full-size vernier scale of inches and show on it lengths 3.67", 1.54” and 0.48”. --- XX ---
