3 Ransomware is a form of malware that is spreading quicker than ever. The UK's National Cyber Security Centre says it handled more than three times as many ransomware incidents in 2020 than in the previous year. During the same period, the FBI says that nearly 2,400 US companies, local governments, healthcare facilities and schools were victims of ransomware.
