4) (a) Suppose a pendulum of length L is to be used to find the
acceleration of gravity at a point on the earth’s surface. Use the
formula: T=2π√(L/g) to approximate the percentage error in the
value of g. Assume that you can determine the period T to be within
0.1 percent of its true value. (b) The measurement of a side of a
square is found to be 15 centimeters. (i) The possible error in
measuring the side is 0.05 centimeter. Approximate the percentage
error in computing the area of the square. (ii) Estimate the
maximum allowable percentage error in measuring the side if the
error in computing the area cannot exceed 2.5%
