The pressure at the inlet of a pressure relief valve is at its
cracking pressure and thus has 11 gal/min of fluid passing through
it into the reservoir. A temperature rise of 4 degrees F in the
fluid is measured as it goes through the valve. If the specific
heat of the fluid is 0.49 Btu/(lb degree F) and the specific
gravity is 0.86, what is the pressure drop (in psi) across the
valve?
