A single-jet Pelton wheel with a head over the
nozzle of 210 m has its buckets on a cycle of 0.9 m diameter. The
deflecting angle of the bucket is 1620. Find (a) the
best speed, (b) the hydraulic efficiency of the runner when the
speed is 800 rev/min. CV for the nozzle is 0.975.
