A separately excited DC motor is intended for driving a speed-dependent load that characterized by Tu=(2000-2N) Nm where N is the speed in rpm The ratings and the specifications of the DC motor are as follows: = Vrated = 220 V, I rated = 400 A, Ciated = 600 rpm Ra= 0.022, L. = 1.5 mH Rp = 52, L = 0.5 mH As an electrical engineer, prepare a complete rectifier-based DC Motor drive system to operate the load at (1) 450 rpm and (1) 750 ipm respectively. Both single-phase 50Hz, 240Vms and three-phase 50 Hz, 415VL-L.ms ims supplies are available to be used. Your design is open ended, therefore you should provide the schematic diagram of your de motor drive system and specify the required vahie of voltage and firing angle of rectifier for both the armature and field termmals.
